DIY: Feather garland & Gift decor by @gulyaevam

Today we've prepared a wonderful & simple DIY how to make your own Feather Garland or Gift Decor! We are so happy when our clients become our friends. And this is a story about Maria Gulyaeva,  a wonderful illustrator, designer & now a dear guest in our blog! Hope you will enjoy this easy way  to make the space a festive and beautiful :)

YOU WILL NEED: Scissors White cardboard Pencil Thread Silver acrylic paint

Adhesive tape

DOWNLOAD THE TEMPLATE OF FEATHERS

Step 1 Print the feathers or draw them yourself (3-4 kinds) .Cut them out and outline on a cardboard

Step 2 Cut out as much feathers as you want, depending on the length of your garland

Step 3 Make thin cuts along the feather. Then fold it in half

Step 4 Use a paint to make patterns, you can cover some feathers entirely in paint

Step 5 Stick them to a thread using tape, 10-15 cm away from each other. You can hang the garland on your Christmas tree or a wall

Your garland is ready to make your space magical and unique!

You can also use it for packing gifts for the New Year, just stick a few feathers to the box and tie it with a ribbon :)
